Geola Prod SRL is a family business founded in Târgu Neamț in 1995. Over three decades and three generations, we have grown from a local workshop into an ISO 9001 certified and AFER-approved industrial manufacturer, supplying rubber technical components to partners across Romania.
A family business built on craftsmanship
It all started in 1995, when the company's founder established a rubber processing workshop in Târgu Neamț — driven by a simple conviction: local industry needs a serious supplier of technical components, not expensive imports with long lead times.
The business grew organically, carefully passed from one generation to the next. Today, Geola Prod is led by Ionuț-Celestin Boroianu as director, alongside Edouard-Celestin Boroianu — Technical Director & Quotations — who brings a fresh perspective while preserving the values on which the company was built.

Company Leadership
Geola Prod is a family business in the truest sense — decisions are made with accountability, not quarterly reports.
Takes over the company founded by his father and transforms it from a niche workshop into a full-capacity industrial manufacturer with complete extrusion, vulcanisation and quality control capabilities. Under his leadership, Geola Prod obtains AFER approval and enters the supply chain for the Romanian railway industry.
The third generation of the Boroianu family at the helm of the company. Coordinates technical activity, quotations and new client relationships, bringing a modern approach without compromising inherited quality standards. Directly involved in the ISO 9001 certification process, completed in 2025.

Each milestone added something — a machine, a certification, a partnership — without ever abandoning what worked from the very beginning.
Company founded
Geola Prod SRL is founded in Târgu Neamț by Gheorghe Boroianu. The initial focus — gaskets and vulcanised rubber technical parts — responds to local demand from the manufacturing industry. A small business built on craftsmanship and direct knowledge of the material.
Capacity expansion & second generation
Ionuț-Celestin Boroianu takes over and invests in extrusion and hot-press equipment. The range diversifies with extruded profiles and technical hoses. The client portfolio expands to regional level.
AFER approval
Geola Prod obtains AFER (Romanian Railway Authority) approval, opening access to supplying certified technical components for rolling stock. A long-term partnership with CFR and Romanian railway operators begins.
Modernisation & third generation
New compounds are introduced — silicone, EPDM, electroinsulating. Edouard-Celestin Boroianu actively joins management, focusing on technical quotations, process optimisation and direct industrial client relationships.
ISO 9001:2015 & anniversary
The jubilee year brings the most important certification in company history: ISO 9001:2015 for the quality management system — obtained as a requirement for continuing the strategic partnership with CFR. Thirty years of uninterrupted activity, with the same commitment to quality with which it all began.

Vulcanisation Presses
Hot-pressing lines with precise temperature and pressure control, ensuring uniform vulcanisation for gaskets and technical parts in NBR, EPDM, silicone and electroinsulating compounds.
Extrusion Lines
Continuous extrusion for profiles, hoses and sponge gaskets. Complex cross-section profiles produced to client-specified dimensions, with controlled tolerances along the full length.
Quality Laboratory
Control of compound parameters — Shore A hardness, tensile strength, elongation at break — per SR EN and ISO standards. Full traceability per production batch.
Compound Preparation
Mixing of vulcanisable compounds is done in-house, ensuring complete recipe control and rapid adaptation to special requirements for chemical, thermal or electrical resistance.
Warehouse & Logistics
Storage space for raw materials and finished products, with stock management that guarantees batch traceability and compliance with storage conditions specific to each type of compound.

Technical staff trained over the years within the company. Operators, technicians and engineers who know the material, machinery and standards required by every industry we serve.
